About Us
Specialists in industrial and oil & gas wastewater, with capabilities in all leading advanced and conventional technologies, supported by a comprehensive range of facilities from bench and test rig through to pilot and commercial scale plants.
Over 25 years’ experience
British Gas plc conducted a five-year joint-development programme from 1995 with Pell Frischmann Group to provide economic solutions for treating effluents from upstream and downstream oil & gas operations and effluents from coal gasification. In 2000, Pell Frischmann acquired the water-treatment facilities and technologies of the British Gas R&D Division and relocated the laboratory to Milton Keynes in the UK, where Frischmann Process Technology (FPT) was established. FPT has further developed the facilities and technologies since 2000, and the services and technologies are now offered in association with Aqua Dynamics Process Technology (ADPT).
Our Team
We have a highly experienced team with roots in the R&D Division of British Gas plc, enhanced by a new generation of chemical engineers, scientists, M&E engineers and consultants
Chris is the inventor of the patented Ceramic High Flux (CHF) oil and solids membrane filtration technology, which he originally designed to economically treat the high flow rates of oil and gas produced water. We have further developed the CHF technology for the treatment for applications including acid mine drainage, marine ballast water and industrial wastewater.
